‘1 a Day’ Project

These are exquisite examples of precision; offering infinite possibilities to the viewer.


Whilst undergoing the current Artist Residency in Spain one of the projects is ‘1 a Day’. Following on from the compositional geometry influences in my early drawings, I am developing a body of work which will pick up where I left off a year ago and finalise these drawings as a drawing collection. Each studio day, for 1 month, a new composition will be produced.

After just over a week the following abstract compositions based on Alberti’s renaissance perspective theory on transversals have emerged from the Project:
