Were You Abused At An Islington Children’s Home? Support And Advice.


I suspect there are many more revelations to come, and even more that have already gone to their graves.

A website dedicated to helping children who were abused in Islington Care Homes has been set up by a survivor of abuse in collaboration with Liz Davies, the social worker who first exposed the Islington Abuse scandal in 1992.

The Islington Survivors Network offers all sorts of information, from support helplines,  to a list of contacts which includes politicians, whistleblowers and journalists. There is even a list of charged abusers who have been publicly named.

The Network is also actively involved in the nation’s Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, and there is a Survivors’ Contact Form for anyone who is a survivor or has been a child witness to abuse. There is a separate contact form for adult witnesses.
